Waterjet Cutting Services.
No heat. Thick materials. Tight tolerances. Complex geometry. Our abrasive waterjet cuts nearly any material up to 4″ thick, leaving a clean, sandblasted edge with no heat affected zone.
Waterjet cut in Littleton, MA
Cold cutting for materials that hate heat.
Abrasive waterjet mixes high pressure water with garnet to erode material rather than melt it. Because no heat is generated, the material's structure stays intact right up to the cut edge, no heat affected zone, no hardening, no discoloration.
The result is a sharp edge with a lightly sandblasted finish. Some striations are normal and vary with cutting speed. Waterjet cuts almost anything, metals, plastics, composites, and stone, with glass being the main exception.
- No heat affected zone, material properties preserved to the edge
- Thick material capability, up to 4.00″ in a single pass
- One material list, metals, plastics, composites, and more

Common questions
What's the maximum thickness you can waterjet?
We cut materials up to 4.00″ thick. Thicker material is possible for some geometries, send your drawing and we'll confirm.
Does waterjet cutting affect the material's properties?
No. Waterjet produces no heat affected zone, so the material's structure, temper, and finish stay intact right up to the cut edge.
Can you cut plastics and composites?
Yes. We waterjet a wide range of plastics, composites, and specialty materials, including G10 / FR4. Glass is the main material we can't cut.
What does the cut edge look like?
A sharp edge with a lightly sandblasted appearance. Some striations are normal and vary with cutting speed. Let us know if a part is cosmetic so we can adjust.
Where can I find exact limits and tolerances?
This page describes what the shop can do. For the standard Instant Quote sizes, thicknesses, and tolerances, see the waterjet cutting guidelines.
