Standard Cutting Tolerances
These tolerances apply unless otherwise specified on the drawing and accepted by ACP.
- Parts up to 24" × 24": outside profiles and large internal cutouts ±0.010", holes ±0.005".
- For every additional 12" beyond 24" in the largest part dimension, add ±0.002" to the profile and large cutout tolerance.
- Hole tolerance remains ±0.005" unless material thickness, geometry, or process conditions require adjustment.
- Material thickness is nominal and follows mill tolerance.
- Tighter tolerances require a custom quote.
